How to Maintain your unit:

1. Check battery before each use. Replace battery as required or every three months.

2. Lubricate storage reel shaft bearings from the outside of the unit with WD-40 every three months. DO NOT USE REGULAR LUBRICATING OIL OR GREASE, as this will effect the electrical contact required between the crank shaft and the bearings.

3. Clean oil and dirt from electrode, cable, and unit as required.

4. Visually inspect cable for damaged insulation.

5. Visually inspect the plastic ”Splash Guard” on the tip of the electrode for excessive wear.
